Math Class

[Kyoto]

Kyoto entered the room.
"I don't see the teacher..."
He sat in his usual seat, which was when he noticed tha Kiera sat RIGHT beside him. It had slipped his mind before.

[Kiera]

Kiera sat down beside him and smiled at him.
"Thanks for helping me. I probably would've just sat there all day, too scared to actually leave."

[Kyoto]

"Oh, stop it!"
Kyoto smiled.
"I'm glad you apologized."

[Kiera]

She smiled back at him.
"I'm glad that you accepted."
Just then, the math teacher walked into the classroom. Kiera hadn't even realized that Kyoto and her were the only students in the class until the teacher mentioned how early they were.

[Kyoto]

"Apparently, we're early. This is new to me."
Kyoto scratched the back of his head.

[Kiera]

"Aparently, I didn't even notice the time when we left yo-the cafeteria."

[Kyoto]

"Yeah."
He felt wierd when he was around her, he kinda liked it.

[Kiera]

She pulled her sketch book out from her bag. Her sketchbook smelled kind of funny but it was a sketchbook none the less and Kiera wouldn't be able to live without it.

[Kyoto]

"Err, I'm sorry about your sketchbook..."
He covered his nose to avoid the rancid stench.

[Kiera]

She smiled at him.
"It's okay. When the Student store opens I'll buy a new one."

[Kyoto]

"Even better. I feel bad, so I'll get you a new one."

[Kiera]

"No no no. It's really okay. I deserved it for being mean to you."

[Kyoto]

"Yeah, but I shouldn't have dropped it in the trash 'two wrongs don't make a right'."
Kyoto frowned.
"So? Please let me buy you a new one?"

[Kiera]

She sighed. He was using what she had said before against her now. She decided that she would let him buy her a new sketchbook and give him the mony for it later.
"Fine..."

[Kyoto]

"Thank you."
Kyoto smiled then pulled his math crap from his bag.

[Kiera]

Kiera realized that she should probably get her math stuff together too. She started rummaging through the mess of her bag until she found her math work.

[Kyoto]

"So, what are you up to tomorrow?"
Kyoto searched for something to talk about.

[Kiera]

She thought for a moment tomorrow was a day two but she still had a spare in the morning.
"I'll probably go to the library first thing in the morning, during my spare, to work on the story for our art project. How about you, what are you doing tomorrow?"

[Kyoto]

"Probably the same. Shall I join you?"
Kyoto clasped his hands behind his head and leaned back in the chair.

[Kiera]

She smiled at Kyoto. Normally she liked working by herself, but she thought that since he was doing the drawings for the story and she was writing it that they should work together. Also if she was going to draw the backgrounds to the pictures then she would have to work with Kyoto more.
"Yeah sure, I'll meet you in the Library during 1st period then."

[Kyoto]

"It's a date then."
He started checking over his work.

[Kiera]

She smiled at him. For some reason when he said that it made her feel funny. It's not like it was an actual date, it's just a turn of phrase. Why was it making her feel so weird.
"Alright."
Just then the bell rang and a bunch of students started filling up the classroom and the teacher started writing the lesson on the board.

[Kyoto]

Kyoto finished checking his work.
"I think I made a mistake on 3."

[Kiera]

Kiera hadn't even realized that she wasn't doing anything, she was just kind of sitting there staring at him like a creeper. She quickly turned to her paper.
"Really? You want to compare answers?"

[Kyoto]

"Sure, let's swap."
He handed her his paper.
